Kitenui's owner Murray has created this special place over the last 35 years, farming 450 acres and 1200 deer. He made it one of the most beautiful deer farms in the country with a great variety of animals. There are over seven different types of deer, Himalayan Thar, zebras, Scottish Highland cattle and many more animals to be seen.
Murray is not only a deer farmer but also a talented artist. You will enjoy seeing his paintings and sculptures in the studio surrounded by massive trees and a beautiful county garden. Lunch is served in a renovated woolshed with the largest collection of antlers in New Zealand. The exclusive visit to this inspiring homestead and studio is a once in a lifetime occasion.
